logon user account

    yesterday i did install window7 and now when i turn it on i have the logon screen so how cant i uninstall the login acount or desable it .
    i did check and there is no uption to change it control panel user acount

    i did try this here [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] but it is not there

    Hello yvesj,

    I'm not sure what you are wanting. Are you just not wanting to have to log on?

    If so, then the tutorial below can show you how to set Windows 7 to automatically log on to your user account at startup.

    ok i thing that i got it now working .
    i will let you know later ok .
    ho buy i am so dumm it not funny .i was working on the wrong computer .
    but i will tell you window7 is not for me at all .
    i cant not even drag any icon in the task bar .
    no problem on vista .
    so i be building a new computer this friday using the new fm2 motherboard 6 gbs and i will install vista 64 bits with 8 gbs period .
    that will be it for window7 .
    i will try to sell it .
    it is brand new

    vista i could drag personnal .etc.etc from the control panel all in my task bar .
    really fast that way .
    now with 7 i have to go to control panel or have it on my desktop .the thing is you land up to have about 12 of the dem thing

    i go to go make my stew now .
    my dog is waithing to eat it .lol

    ok here is the new .
    on power on no loging .
    on restat no logon .
    now on sleep when wake in up i do have to logon why .
    this is what my computer is on all the time on sleep mode .
    do you thing that it be in my setting in the powewrs uption to set the sleep mode ,
    i will go and check it out now

    Yep, that would be it. Double check using the tutorials below to make sure that you have each set to be disabled. :)

    Screen Saver Password Protection -Enable or Disable

    Password - Require on Wakeup
