    Infinite startup loop issue

My computer has gone into the infinite startup loop. I attempted the recovery from the tutorial here but was not able to complete it as there were 0 directory files at step 14. The computer will not go into safemode it just contiues this loop. It will not read from the DVD drive to use the repair disk so I moved the contents to a USB drive only to get this message "Invalid system disk". Let me also say, I thought my local disk was C: drive which is what it showed when the computer was working correctly and D: drive was the DVD. It now shows the D: drive as the local disk. Any help would be appreciated.

Your DVD drive is suddenly not working, or it's been having problems? Or is it the disc?

YUMI (your universal multiboot installer) is a free utility that can copy the contents of a Windows 7 installation disc to a USB drive and make it bootable.

Try this USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create. YUMMI works as well, but you have to create an ISO file from the DVD drive or download an ISO.
