Windows Vista Boot Animation
Just today my Windows 7 Pro computer boots with a Vista animation. Any ideas?

I'm going to be the first to ask: What have you recently installed? Can you roll back to a point before the Vista animation?
Try:
Open the Command Prompt as administrator Elevated Command Prompt
Then copy and paste bcdedit /set {current} locale en-US in the Command Prompt and Hit the Enter key.
If that does not work try bcdboot %WinDir% /l en-US in the Command Prompt and Hit the Enter key.
Exit Command Prompt and reboot your system.
This is for English for other languages replace the en-US with yours.
Jerry
Usually when this happens windows is running a restore point operation, like what xp did when it had the white bar go across the screen. Boot into safe mode and do a sfc /scannow in command prompt to determine if something isn't quite right with the system files.
bcdboot %WinDir% /l en-US worked.
Thanks Jerry. Much appreciated.
