How to clear REGISTRY for any printer informations

    Hi all :)

i have this kinda wierd problem. i have my printer installed and shared on a server, and on some clients i get this message if i try to add the printer, "OU:Cannot connect to printer \\servername\printername"
its only on some of the clients..

so i was thinking, is there a way to clear the registey for all printer drivers, printer shares, etc?

i have removed all files within the 2 folders,
    C:\windows\system32\spool\printers\
    C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\

i have also under the regsitey path:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86
also deleted all printers. and if i search the regstey for the share name of the printers, i have deleted those to. but still it seems to come with that error.

but if i reinstall the OS, i have no problem with adding / installing my printers.

please help, i dont want to reinstall 10 machines.. :S

Looks like a group policy problem (?) OU = Organizational Unit?
Are you running in a domain? Is this a business computer?

yes, i am running on a domian, on my work.. but what seems odd, that if i re-install the PC i have no trouble with the printers. but i cannot clear the registey so i can add the printers.

so i am seeking a way to find out how solve it, or even more important, whats causes this problem.

i found the way to fix this problem.

i took the PC and remove it from the domain, and after i logged on with the local administrator, and in the Regedit, i remove all items that had either the printer names, or print servers names on it.
and for the last i took it into the domain again and its seems that worked pretty well.
