It is. But their set up is horrible. There is no way to contact anyone. All they have is FAQ's. I have a transaction that went through at 827AM PST this morning when I had purchased my copy around 6pm EST last night and gotten my confirmation order and it showed up on my statement online roughly 730pm EST. Yet, no way to contact them about this unauthorized charge. When you view their help center site they have an alert about if an unauthorized charge appears to log into your order invoice. Which when you do log in, it shows nothing, just a download link. For them to even have that alert up, makes it seem like it has been happening for a while.

Don't worry about unauthorized charges on your credit card. Worst case, you can just call your credit card co.'s cust service and tell them about the unauthorized charge and they will credit it back to you while they investigate and fix it permanently for you. Believe me, it's not something worth getting upset about.

Not as pissed as I seem. I just hate when things have to be so difficult and look sketchy. Either way, I now have Win 7 Pro. Did a full install. Now deleting the Windows.old folder and will start updating everything.

You can do a full install with the upgrade version. Just start the installer from inside vista and choose custom. Here are more options and details: http://www.winsupersite.com/win7/cle...rade_media.asp

I wonder where Download squad got the idea for that tutorial?

At least the one at Notebook Review credits this site as the source.

Make bootable iso from student d/l

Just remove a couple of paragraphs from the above - you get the idea.
