Problem to boot Windows 7
Hello to all.
I have a big problem with my computer boot.
I was very happy with it, ssd was working like a charm and the computer response was very good.
But this Wednesday I had to remove the linux from my computer because the SSD was about 2gb free on windows and I don't use much the linux.OK no problem I have done that dozens of time, but this time I have tried to get the 100mb that the system reserved partition has, so with easeus partition master I removed the system reserved partition and the linux partitions.
When I tried to boot it again. The computer couldn't pass from BIOS!?!?!.It was stuck at Autodetecting AHCI Port 0... , that port is where the ssd is connected to the motherboard, so I opened the computer and booted fine.Entered to the setup of the bios and changed the mode from ahci to ide, connected the ssd again and the computer booted fine (This problem I am trying to find a solution without erasing all the ssd).
So I repaired the boot of the windows 7 on ide mode, but BSOD on boot because it was on ide mode and not in ahci.
Tried to set ahci again but nothing,so I thought It was because of partitions, so I decided to start knopix (a linux live cd that helped me a lot of in the past fixing problems like this). So I started GParted and creating in the start of the disk an unused space, but It needed to move all the data 2mb to the right in the ssd, which GParted says it took an hour.
But when moving the data, the light of my house got off .
This happened to me in the past, and the result was an entire 500GB hard disk clear. So inmediately computer started I booted the Windows 7 disk to run chkdsk, which recovered the SSD, but it took more than 12 hours to repair that.
When I restarted the computer I could boot it again in AHCI mode, but the Windows 7 was died, I can't boot and Windows 7 disk startup repair can't repair that, the farthest I have came was to boot the recovery of the windows 7 of the ssd,but it is like in a loop every reboot is to the recovery.
I have tried lots of things to repair this but I'm stuck on this.
If you can provide me a solution without reinstalling Windows, but If not I am making a clonezilla image to one of my harddisks and then format the entire ssd.
Thank you for read this huge text and help me
EDIT: Solved AHCI problem, I am trying startup repair
