Maxie, it still hangs up after I first boot it up for like a second. But, this happened after they reduced my disk usage. Can we work on fixing that?

Yes. I was on Ten Forums.com, trying to be prepared for Windows 10. Well, they looked at my disk usage and said it was using a lot of disk usage. So, they reduced it. I will try and find the thread and show you what I am talking about.

Okay. I couldn't find that thread where they reduced the disk usage. So, I guess we will just have to work on it from getting stuck on when I first boot it up. Have a good night sleep!

I've never heard of anyone reducing someone's disk usage. What exactly did they do?

Have you tried the latest display driver for your exact model from the Acer Support Downloads webpage? I'd also install the chipset from there if it's newer.

Start working through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 reporting back as you go.

Is this the original factory install or have you done a Clean Reinstall Windows 7 yet?

If I find where they did it, then I will paste the link to the website here. It's the original Windows 7 install. I've never done a clean install on it.

In that case type msconfig in the Start Search box, on the Startup Tab uncheck everything except your AV, click Apply. On the Services tab, tick the box to Hide MS Services, then do the same, Apply, OK, reboot PC to see if performance improves.

What AV are you using? If it's bloated try a free lightweight AV like Microsoft Security Essentials
to compare. Uninstall your AV until you finish troubleshooting

Then proceed to work through the other steps to Clean Up Factory Bloatware

I have some free time tonight or tomorrow if you want to install TeamViewer Download at all defaults, leave it open on desktop and Private Message back to me the ID and password, I will connect and go over it for you to save time.
