There is no reason to create the System Reserved partition unless you want to use BitLocker. Otherwise there is no reason to have or not to have it. Just keep what you have.

Yes true, but since this seven forums topic could also help someone whom has accidentally deleted their system reserved partition, there aught to be a method to recreate one right?

And to reimplement the protection and hidden status of such.
