Turn Monitors Display Off or Fully Turn Monitors Off?

    I have 2 monitors connected & often I only need one, such as watching a video, so I just turn one them off at the monitor switch. If I want to leave the computer on for say half an hour while I answer the phone or something I turn the monitors off at their switch.

    I also use Turn Display Off after 5 minutes if I get delayed away from the computer.

    In this day & age LED monitors power up in a few seconds, not like they were in days gone by.

    Monitors are on 24x7. Computers are turned on when in use, and in sleep mode when not. Simple.

I'm using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. I have my power options set to turn off the monitor after 20 minutes and the computer is not set to sleep or hibernate. When over 20 minutes has expired, the monitors do not turn off. On rare occasion they do, though (by 'they' I am referring to dual monitors)....

Monitors wont turn off

I'm running 3 monitors, 2 of them off of an ATI pci-e card and the other off of an ATI pci card. The problem is, I set my display to turn off after 20 minutes but they never turn off. Is this a known problem or is there a fix?
