Hello, I was unsure whether to open this thread in here or in Windows System Security, anyway, I'm configuring a laptop for a friend of mine, I've set up the windows with a standard administrator account (not the hidden one) and have just created a standard user account for him so he won't mess up...
I am very new to active directory. Hence I need to make my basics strong. Hence if any one could answer this for me please.
If I run a company, say 'a financial', If I have 10 users. I have also installed windows server 2008 in one of my computers and
given windows vista to the client computers....
Hi all the Win 7 Guru,
I have encounter a problem where my "Active directory users and computer" function suddenly unable to connect to my remote server.
I have run a nslookup and below are the reply
C:\>nslookup
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 10.10.2.6
Active Directory User and Computers
"MMC could not create the snap-in"
Anybody get this working?
I've googled to no avail
I've tried the Vista fix, registering a bunch of DLLs, but that didn't fix it.
