I found this built-in Windows tool

A couple of months ago I discovered this built-in Windows tool, "Performance Information and Tools" (see animated gif below).

Windows 7 take long time to shut down.-performance-information-tools-optimized-.gif

AVG caused a startup issue on my PC, on October 13th (as shown in the gif).

If there are shutdown problems, there will be an entry relating to them in "Performance Issues" (see the last 3 frames).

    Thanks pepeniva

I could fix my shut down excesive delay in my laptop windows 7 HP Pavilion, old machine, thanks to the very well explained post about that topic by pepeniva, since I was looking unsuccesfully for a while for an answer for me this was a good reason to double appreciate that post. I had a previous 3 to 5 minutes delay since shut down was started. After I fixed with that good tip it takes less than 30 seconds. Thanks again pepeniva.
