How do you do printing? Is your wireless printer connected through the router, or is it connected directly to the computer?

If you are printing directly from the computer to the printer, I would advise you to change that, so that the printer connects to the router. Once you have done that, your printer becomes a wireless printer on the network, rather than a wireless printer that is directly connected to the computer.

Going through the router is, in my opinion, a better option; there is less possibility of problems, because the router is managing the flow of traffic, as opposed to Windows managing the flow of traffic to the printer.
