    yes, i do have media and will do a clean install at some point. tryin to debug a few things first. and find out if my apps are all gonna work

    Go through the two guides in my sig. That should straighten out the kinks and give you plenty of info about 7 in the process.

    the mouse issue disappeared when i uninstalled all of dells support bloatware.

    That can go a long way.

    After you get it all uninstalled, check regedit for any listings still left to delete in 2nd and 3rd registry hive Software keys. Set a restore point first.

    Then run sfc /scannow to see if the worst effect of bloatware escaped you: system file corruption due to uninstall.
