    Me thinks he wants to know if he can do a Windows Seven upgrade from Windows 98??? Which I belive is no. Upgrade Install with Windows 7 And Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version Fabe

    i want to say that i have windows 98 in my computer then can i install windows 7 in my windows 98 by win 7 setup.. i dnt hve boot able cD of windows 7 i just have windows setup

    What does Microsoft consider a "Previous Qualifying Version of Windows" that is needed to use the Win 7 upgrade disk?

    If you cant burn to a CD/DVD, then you might be able to put it on a flash drive/USB key

    USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

    otherwise, I dont know if you can do an upgrade path from Windows98.... if you are going to 64x then you definitely cant....you would need a clean install or upgrade from a vista64x biuld.

    Do you have an ISO? where did you get the ISO, if it is from a vendor (OEM) then you might be able to request a DVD be sent to you....
