    Can I run 64 bit Windows 7?


    Hi, I don't know if this is in the right place, but could someone tell me if I can run 64 bit Windows on my Hardware?
    Specs:
    Epox 4PDA5+
    Intel Celeron D 2.9GHz
    nVidia GeForce 6200
    1.5 (soon 2)GB RAM

    That didn't really help. I want to know if I can Install 64 bit Windows XP/7 on my hardware.

    Just looking at your post,
    You will need more ram( see if your system can handle 4GB of ram) and
    Check hardware for running Windows 7 64 bit.
    I ran this test coming from Vista 32bit and it showed me what I needed if I was to upgrade to 7 64bit.

    You should be able to with more RAM.

    Nope.

    The Celeron D 330 seems to not support the 64 bit instruction set.

    Sorry to hear that.
    With the costs of computers being so cheap you may want to check out local area sales and get a new one with 7 Home Premium already installed.
