Hey guys, I've been having these freezes now for a while;

http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/117438-mystery-freeze-no-bsod.html
http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-...-x64-freezes-when-running-torrent-client.html

& I can't seem to get rid of them..

I tried everything as suggested before, tested the hardware again a couple of days ago (approx 16 hours Memtest86+ 4.10, 150 passes LinX all memory, approx 4 hours Furmark dual gpu) all without errors, checked/disabled services etc, but still the system freezes at random - though most of the time (85%) while running a torrent client (Deluge/uTorrent/Tixati).

Retail Win7 Ultimate 64 - installed approx 5 weeks ago
Still running Microsoft Security Essentials

Hope someone could be so kind & show me the source of the latest crash.

Thanks again.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the appropriate section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Hi, sorry; I thought I mentioned it, but there's no content in the Minidump map.

Hi Rabor,

Any luck with your system? Even I have the same issue. My Win 7 x64 freezes whenever uTorrent is running.

Thanks
Rohit

Hey,

well, the problem is still not completely gone, but with the build I'm using now, with a clean W7U64 SP1 install, all latest drivers & latest NON-beta uTorrent, it only happens approx. once a week..

I think it's probably still a driver issue, but there's nothing more I can do about it..

But it's probably best to just start a new topic in "Crashes & Debugging" following these steps:

http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

Someone will eventually help you..

These are all the other topics I've posted on this issue, & somewhere in there is explained what steps to take to let W7 check for faulty/outdated drivers using "Verifier"..:

http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/160610-system-freezes-when-idle.html

It might help.. Good luck!

Hey,

Just to let you know, last month i had updated my LAN drivers and uTorrent. Havent seen a freeze since. I am still observing the system. I am sure my system could have been pretty banged up after all those hard reboots... though i don't see any signs of it, i am going to reinstall Win 7 on my machine.

Thanks for the info
Rohit
