I came to the conclusion, that even though we have the latest drivers for realtek. Please keep in mind that it is a 6-CHANNEL CODEC NOT A 5.1 CODEC, YES THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.
5.1 channel = all four speakers, plus one sub woofer.
6 channel = all four speakers, a center speaker (yes this IS a speaker) and one sub woofer as well.
Unfortunately, realtek is being retarded and I sent them a e-mail, regarding this issue.
So yeah, if anyone here knows someone from realtek, DO let them know that there HAS to be a 6-channel option in their next release.
This way, when the user mutes the microphone option for the rear-port, then they wont have any crappy annoying static.
I tried all the other drivers, and nothing works.
Thats my 2 cents.
Note: the annoying alternative is to do two things that were discussed in another thread:
Option 1 - Go to your realtek sound setup and select 5.1 on the drag down menu. Make sure the mic is unmuted, then tun it up to about 28db
Option 2 - Do the same thing as abobe, except turn the mic's volume to 1, then go into the "range section" of the Realtek config manager and put the Db to about 25db (same thing, but less staticy).
