I've just upgraded my motherboard to and Asus M4A785-M. My old motherboard is still functional and runs Windows 7 just fine but when I put my CPU/GPU/RAM and HDD on the new one the system became unstable and began crashing. I've reinstalled Windows 7 a couple of times, each time formatting the C: partition but that didn't fix anything.
I keep getting blue screens and crashes, some of the messages were about irql not less than equal, a problem with tcpip.sys, memory error.
I really want to know if the new MB is the problem and if there's anything I can do about it.
