I beleive its the OP (limneos) who has done 95% of it. Its a great forum gadget, just wish it would display right with a DPI at Medium or 125%.

Here OEM, this should be the fix for the overlay in the gadget. Follow the instructions, edit the sevenforums.html with notepad.

You can also make icons and such larger by holding down the Ctrl key and rotating the mouse wheel. Works in many programs also.

Hello Airbot,
Tried many different combo's and it didn't appear to change anything. Everything from w200 x h500 - w600 x h1000. Even tried adjusting by 25%, the change % of the DPI.
Its not the best, but the main thing are the threads being displayed good and they do. It's a little difficult to see gadgeters, and other info at the bottom, but it does work. The IM itself is fine. Thanks for the help.

Hello Gary,
Thanks for the tip. When adjusting the DPI, it changes Everything displayed. Its not just the icons I would need to see bigger. Its the taskbar, buttons, icons, and most importantly the text. The difference on a display this small with a rez of 1680x1050 is night and day. My eyes are not what they once were. Gett'n old sucks. lol

P.S.
My above last post was in response to someone who evidently decided to delete his post. Don't know why, all he did was comment on the gadget and asked who designed it. Guess ya have to quote every time if replying to the post above.

Has anyone been able to get their avitar to display? Using the tips above, I've been able to get the gadget to look good but I still only have a little red x where I've seen my avitar before.

The avatar needs some code fixing to be displayed, because some code has also changed in the forum so the "leeching" method to get the avatar has to be re-coded.

I will apply the fixes soon, since now I'm really lost into creating applications for several customers, hence my absence from here too.

1-2 days.

Hey Limneos, Glad to hear from you again. I have been testing chat option for you with many users. There is a slight code bug at bottom, where you see a list of users overlapping the # of Gadeters on line, etc seems to be related to "Who's Online"

Limneos, I see you must be working on the Gadget. Improved overlay problem gone, except when there are over 1000 Curently active Users & over 100 Members and over 1000 guests. Then that line becomes an overlayed line. at 99 member it looks just fine. Still No Avatar, But best Gadget on Win_7

Ok guys....

I've made some fixes.

1. The "currently active users" does not cover the right side anymore, causing overlay troubles.

2. The user avatar shows up now.

3. The 2 new forum icons, virtualization and hardware should now show up correctly

4. Avatars on the chat window show up now, instead of the red X.

5. Avatars on the "chat with users" bottom right link show up now.

If you spot any other major glitches or bugs, please let me know.
Also, if anything of what I mentioned above, still doesn't work as expected, let me know.

Looks back at 100% here, Limneos Now I can promote & try to get more users to test it & use it. I can't live without it & the snipping tool. You have got great talent my friend

Sorry to be a pain and this is not a big deal to me, but just to let you know.
As you can see from the pic., things are still jumbled at the bottom for me. I seem to have an extra line above most users. When I click on it, I am taken to the who's online page in my browser. Since there is already a who's online below, if that was gone it would be better. I already have the length at 1024 (the max. allowed). Due to the team forum no doubt.

1. I included emoticons selection .

2. I fixed the issue with the message time not being displayed correctly among different time zones during chat.

Hahaaaa. That was interesting. You left your login in the gadget, so when I started it up I was MrGrim. Couldn't access anything I wasn't s'possed to but.....

Also when I was logged in as you everything was fine, no jumbling at the bottom and only 750 tall (I think). Then when I changed to my login, I'm back to jumbled up at the bottom even though I enlarged to 1000. Odd.
