Hi Limneos, please don't take offense but I changed one of your skins for one of the old diner ones but I modified it similar to yours and those reflections make it look great.

I have done that but it doesn't install, you double-click it, it asks "Install - Don't Install" and when you press Install, nothing happens.

as if there's something wrong in the code....I haven't figured out what's causing this.

well i tested it in mine...:sarc:
and it works...
the only thing i can think of is that the gadget.xml isnt in the root of the zip...
yeah it did take a few seconds....
but eventually it shows the gadget splash window...

AFAIK its great that people cuztomize it... (from what i know limneos would like that people cuztomize his gadgets...)
i would too if i just had the time...

Hmm, seems to working fine in Vista

hmm, I got it opaque by selecting an opacity level then clicking the wrench.....

I'm just curious what CPU usage others are getting with the sidebar. The only gadget I have running is the clock and it's sitting at a solid 25% usage...

On Vista mine is sitting around 10% on idle with a few gadgets and apps open.

Hmm. That's the usage it should be....

The strange thing is that it starts out with little to no usage and then at some point it stays a solid 25%....

I wonder if something else is interfering with it?

I haven't actually altered much in the way the clock works,it used mostly the code from the standard clock, only I've added another two functions for showing the date and the digital clock.

Try using the standard clock instead, and see what usage it takes.
