Who Knows Why

Two identical rigs, I mean MoBo's, Win 7 x64, CPU's are I7s just different model. Most everything else is same also. Runs great on one rig. Can't get search to work on the other (removed the one that wouldn't search)

I expect some systems would run it without so much as a small wee, while others would not and with my luck....

Does anyone know how close this is to final?

I would have thought the same thing but when i installed it i got this bad blur i mean really bad it got to the point i was going to uninstall all IE off my system now i uploaded the pics to show you what i mean

The first one is the blurr and the other well lets just say when i uninstalled it my screen went normal

Click Tools, Internet options, Advanced tab, and toggle the Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering box to see if it fixes anything. Remember, IE9 uses your GPU for rendering purposes now.

If IE9 had the option to "Open all in Tabs" in the favorites like FF has it would be sweet. Maybe I am just missing something in the settings but have not found anyway to add this option.

Hopefully it will be included in the Final Release.

Off topic, but is relating to IE9, how would I enable InPrivate filtering to be permenantly activated? Or at least when it turns on.

Also, apologies, I haven't realized that discussions about Ad-Block are prohibited, I'll remember that.

The RC is planned for early 2011 and the final in Q2 or Q3 2011

Thanks. That is down the road abit; I may not wait to see what 9 looks like after all. Maybe someday when I find myself really bored.

Belive me i did all that,short of taking a shotgun and blasting the holly hell out of the screen

Internet Explorer 9 is still in beta stage, i prefer safari web browser and I tunes.
Don"t mention Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla Firefox and Google Crome.

That shouldn't be an issue. Likely something weird going on with IE9 itself. It is in Beta form so....

Anyway I myself haven't had any issues yet, but it's early for me

I've noticed that there are no pop-ups in IE9, unlike in Firefox, the pop-ups show up even if you enable the setting to block them. I love IE9, it's almost perfect, there are a few loose ends. Gadgets aren't fully compatible with IE9, and there are sometimes a few performance issues.

many tech noobs among them will blame Microsoft when IE malfunctions as most beta apps do for time to time
