ATI ASUS EAH4850 HD got crashed by gaming

Main title is apt. After approximately five minutes of gaming i hear GPU's fan is getting offline and next to 1-5 minutes game crashed to desktop....it doesn't which game i run.....dirt 2 -> crashed, l4d(1,2)-> crashed, CoD mw2 -> crashed.....i dunno why it is making this problem.....i've heard fan is turned off during i'm typing this thread....catalyst is updated...any drivers too.....chipset-> done, audio -> done....it never happened when i have XP 32...i dunno what i have to do to solve my pc....i'll would be glad if i work my pc out......

try updating you're direct x not to 11 but to version 10

Seems like a faulty GPU

try updating you're direct x not to 11 but to version 10

You can't update DX11 its already part of the OS, only DX9 can be updated by the packages

its a strange...i updated DX to 10.1 it happens again but game won't crash and FAN is turning off....i'm ough to buy a new one GPU

Have you looked in the case and cleaned out the dust that is probably in the fan of that 4850?
