Mass Effect 3, The Elder Scrolls V Confirmed for Holiday 2011

The first trailer for Mass Effect 3 has been shown at the Spike VGA 2010 show, confirming the EA Store slip-up which listed the game for pre-order yesterday. The trailer shows a besieged Earth under attack from a new enemy.

Todd Howard took the stage at the Spike VGA 2010 show to announce The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with a release date of November 11, 2011. No platforms were announced, but we would assume it's going to be PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

HOLY SH- thats awesome news. ME3 and ES5?! cannot wait.... Mass Effect is gangster by itself, but Elder scrolls holds a place in my heart (regardless of the infinitely buggy engine it's built on)

In case we got too excited.... Mass Effect 3 Listed on EA Store, Quickly Yanked

Although we knew it was in the works, it appears that someone at the EA Store was unable to contain their excitement as Mass Effect 3 has appeared on the site earlier today.

Since this post was put in our editorial hopper, ready to go live, EA has pulled the listing. Thankfully, we've captured a screenshot of the PC version's game page. Now, the above link redirects to a page with a game title listed as: TBD (to be determined). We're determined to play some more Mass Effect, so EA might as well just hurry up and tell us it's already happening. They've already been talking about it anyway, you know.

Anyways it now To Be Determined on when the game will be released.

That article is linked in the first post of the thread. Was made a day earlier than the one of the first post, with the trailer showing a holiday 2011 release. Not sure why they would say it was confirmed with posting that article a day later than the EA store slip up one if it wasn't.

I had problems with Prototype, it didn't run very well on my xbox 360 nor my PC, I won't be looking forward to Prototype 2,

But Mass Effect 3 you betcha and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim dang straight!

I think they really will try as hard as they can for to get ME3 out for the holidays. It is probably the most anticipated game out there at the moment, especially when ME2 is left on such a cliff hanger.

Anyways the good news is that at least EA announced a proposed date, even if they quickly pulled it back.

I suppose, but Episode 3 never had a formal announcement. Though Star Wars: The Old Republic has been delayed quite a lot by Bioware...but then that is an MMO, too.
