I have been getting BSODs lately and it always happens when i use google chrome. well did a couple of reformats because of this BSOD and after more or less one week of use, i get irql_not_less_or_equal error while using chrome (sometimes it just reboots without notice and when the os loads, i get the BSOD). after that initial BSOD, i get frequent BSODs on startup. Can you guys please help me because I'm getting frustrated troubleshooting this problem. Thanks in advance

I have a windows 7 professional 64bit full retail and my rig was bought last november

These were all caused by your ataport.sys driver and other old drivers.

Please update the drivers and run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.

Code:
PxHlpa64.sys 12/10/2007 18:49:01 0x475dd06d fffff880`01105000 fffff880`01110ae0 0x0000bae0

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
