Why don't you try GIMP (free download) it's free and has some great tools, very similar to PhotoShop

Here are some templates that you could use. http://www.sevenforums.com/1135635-post155.html They are photoshop files but you can open them in Gimp and all the layers will be intact and editable

Hello I have the most amazing sig done by Arc, I am wondering what you would have come up with if I just said can you make a sig using the name americancritc. I got to thinking that I limited your creative thinking. So I am wondering if it be possible to not put limitaions on your ideas and just say would you please make one and give you full power to creat one without any boarders except it must be to the forums rules of 600 by 100 pixels. If you decide to then please do if not I understand there must be a whole lot of people asking for your help. Any way have a great night I am heading back to the new posts.

That's pretty cool, is there a way to dress it up for the 21st century, something that is just sick you know take some liberty's like you would use it yourself. I want people to say awesome and ask who does this kind of artwork and I will tell them you guys. You know that you could start a company on line with your own website and make a killing selling your artwork and thats what this is it's truly ART. I wish I had just a little of your talent. It's just beautiful.

Arc I love the color is there a way to just make it sick you know the 21st century. Take off the gloves so to speak, but legal for the forum I love the forum. If you did it for yourself and just went crazy what would you do.

Hehe.... When it comes to creating something out of nothing in Photoshop, I simply can't resist.

I know you requested one without any borders, but I think the one I just came up with looks better with a thin black border... Anyways, I attached both so you can decide. If you like it, let me know and I'll create a matching avatar for this signature pic.

And of course, if there's anything you don't like (maybe a different font, name bigger / smaller, etc etc) just let me know and I can change it.
