hi guys,

can anyone tell me when the new windows 7 SP1 update will be released in the UK please, i thought it was today?

Should this be done before SP1 or after....

You guys crack me up. I hope you all aren't disappointed when you realize it isn't much to get excited about. Yes, it saves you from a ton of updates on a clean install, but if you have all the security updates installed already, there's very little that changes.

I remember the same level of excitement around here for the leaks. Some people are just going to get really excited for anything new that comes along. Guess it's just the way some of us are wired.

I'm in the non-excited camp on this one. I downloaded it when it came out via Technet, but haven't bothered to install it anywhere yet.

At this very moment, 5.54 p.m. Central European time, windows update does not show the service pack.

I heard that it's supposed to be available later today, the day in Redmond is just beginning.

Why Windows 7 Service Pack 1 it's not in the list of Windows Update? Anyone knows? Right now should have the update, i checked it but it's not in the list.
