Yes, this is the official RTM.

Computer will temporary boot slower after installation of service packs simply because they replace 1000s of files with new versions - this creates disk fragmentation and temporarily messes up prefetch and boot cache.

Installed - No issues, after 1st boot, no noticeable differences in boot time.

Nope no difference to OEM or retail.

My guess is to install SP1 because to many hotfixes are in it...reboot three or four times to see all is ok. Defrag your disk, defrag registry....then run a Sfc /Scannow.

I've no issue here at the moment with SP1.

My report is basically the same as NoN.

I have noticed a small performance increase.

I made a 100% clean install (what Microsoft calls "custom install"").

I suggest running "Disk Cleanup" afterwards.

I also use CCleaner-both the file and registry cleanup portions thereof.

I also use Auslogic Registry Booster.

If you have a hard disk as opposed to a SSD, then after the install and all of the consequental updates, then run a defragmenter. I prefer the defragmenter from SysInternals, namely, CONTIG.

Yes, looks like stand-alone .exe takes more time than the automated WU.
WU went faster for me, 45mn aswell.

I experienced it before with the leaked Wave 1, it tooks more than an hour. Unfortunatly this Wave1 leaked failed the install.

If you're on x64 based system, then you have the right one (903,2Mb)
