With TweaksLogon and some careful pixel counting, I made a custom logon screen that lines up perfectly with the user pic. You have to adjust it based on whether your username is capitalized, and it gets a little bit misaligned on the lock screen, but overall I like the result. On a 1280x800 screen, the user picture was cropped out of a 126x126 section centered horizontally and 312 pixels from the top.
