I agree Ciara is truly a gifted graphics team member as well as a valued contributor in other forums.

As for myself I am trying to improve my work but it is a very slow and tedious learning curve as it is hard to grasp the concepts of working with the software (IE: I made the background of my Sig using patterns) which was done by pure luck but there is much more basic concepts to learn such as text manipulation, effects etc. before I could ever attempt to make a Sig for others, Also one must posses a certain level of artistic ability.

The reason I create a new Sig is because as stated above is to learn how to use the software and to see the result (for better or worse).
