Solved Steam trying to Ban account

Hi everyone I, woke up to a message from steam about the VAC being banned has anyone else have this happen ?

Why would they try to Ban me ..especially if i just play and don't give other players reason to eject me from any games ?

I just want to know if someone has had similar issues with steam cause this has never happend i already contacted them waiting on a reply ,but if someone knows what other steps i should take im all ears

Maybe someone hijacked your account and was running hacks.

That was the category i used Hijacked account ,but still not convinced i got hacked .

There was a thread on here a few days ago with the same situation,that user ended up contacting steam and geting free games from the mishap ...

Im not looking to gain anything out of this but belive me if they get it worked out i will be glad to recieve

I seen this thread that is why i mentioned it ,yes this is starting to happen to more innocent people come on STEAM play nice

Maybe not as bad as EA tho...someone on the BIOWARE forums dared to criticise and EA promptly banned them AND also stopped him from playing all games linked to his account....It has since been retracted due to the negative feedback.
And he din't get any free anything from them...EA = not good and what they did was probably illegal anyway not that you could take them and there 50 million lawyers to court.
Only problem I had with Steam was years ago when I forgot user name/password when I reinstalled CS...could'nt convince them the acc was mine...Had to go get another copy of the game.
Left a bad taste and I have as little to do with them as possible as a result.

I wouldn't worry, if you have not done anything wrong then this matter should be resolved easily, steam wont ban your account without good reason, and if it is a mistake on their end they have always been able to admit the fault was theres and compensate you for that, whether that be a simple apology or like previous posters have mentioned, a free game! Regardless contact steam and they will be able to resolve the matter one way or another.

well got my answer steam says they had nothing to do with the message and thy changed my account etc so i am all good thanks for the help everyone
