The majority of these were caused by your athrx.sys driver (your atheros WiFi driver). I would start by a re-install with the newest available.

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html

I don't see Atheros mentioned any where in your system report. In the second post zigzag stated your Atheros card was causing your computer to crash. Maybe your card has gone bad or it is not enabled in system devices.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff88005344ce5, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffff880065ec6a8, Exception Record Address

well after i did the update (SP1) the internet was working for a while then my card seemed to just crash and now its not detecting any networks. its enabled and active and its shown in my device manager but it is unable to find any networks. if it is defective, how hard is it to replace those kinds of things in a notebook. ive never opend up a notebook before. i dont want to be walking around with a wireless thumb drive for the rest of this machines lifespan.

I apologize. I must have loaded the wrong memory dump.

Your last system crash on the 27th was caused by CD-ROM Class Filter Driver by Gear Software. This also is included with iTunes. Since you're having network issues, I don't think uninstalling iTunes will fix it. If you continue to receive BSOD pointing at the driver then an uninstall might be necessary.

EDIT: I changed my mind. I went through your older dumps and saw the same iTunes driver crash. Please uninstall iTunes for the time being.

Please enable driver verifier - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

I saw some device errors in your system events. Please run a hard disk scan using Seatools.

BAD_POOL_CALLER (c2)
The current thread is making a bad pool request. Typically this is at a bad IRQL level or double freeing the same allocation, etc.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000009b, Attempt to allocate pool with a tag of zero. This would make the pool untrackable and worse, corrupt the existing tag tables.
Arg2: 00000000, Pool type
Arg3: 00002000, Size of allocation in bytes
Arg4: 85c534e8, Caller's address.

Where do i go from here disable the verifier correct? what about an antivirus, does that mean that zonealarm is going to interfere in the future. should i plan on getting a new antivirus program? thanks for all your help this has been a nightmare of the past 24 hours or so.

Follow the same link that you went to to enable driver verifier. It will explain how to disable it.

As for anti virus, you may use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free and does what it needs to. And yes, you will not be able to use Zone Alarm anymore.

ok well I guess I'm not out of the woods yet.
The CPU is always almost maxed out so the mouse skips and lags and so do most interactions with the GUI.
I got one more blue screen but after another restart it was gone and the diagnostic tool seemed to have frozen as well. When i restarted that first time after i ran the verifier.exe and i received that bad pool caller BSOD i got stuck outside of windows it made me do a system restore but i have re uninstalled itunes and zonealarm was uninstalled after the system restore. I installed security essentials too. Do i need to jump back to current system restore points or something. I feel like the CPU is in turmoil with something.
