SILENT HILL HOMECOMING

i know this game has a lot of issue does anyone know how to fix it?
i cant here sounds in main menu..which was supposed there is..in the beginning of the game i here sounds from dialouges..but when the game starts..i hear no sound effects when i touch the trays. .or even the sounds of foot steps. .
Im using windows 7-32bit. .and a sound driver named "high definition sound. ."was this windows default?

ISSUES?

sometimes it freezes for a while..but it is still fine ..it freezes in the part when walking towards i think East Garden,before meeting a feral eating a corps..and also in Grand Hotel,when jumping towards the wrecked elevator before getting the maintainance key

and other issues is when i paused my game and view my desktop then if i return to the game it will crash.."silent hill has stop responding"..but sometimes it will just work fine..

about other issues "delayed sound effects & delayed conversations"..stated on other forums..im not experiencing it..maybe the delayed subtitles,yes i do.

ive played it on W7, but its a huge hassle. you have to find a patch for certain nvidia cards or something like that. then you have map the keys to your liking. Its playable, but sometimes it freezes and crashes.
