It might have something to do with the soundcard because when i did the reinstall. traktor didnt default to use that as my audio device and it was running fine until i selected it.

You can try uninstalling the sound card driver and reinstall with the one found here and see if it fixes the issues. It is an older driver but sometimes newer drivers arent always better.

ok traktor is no longer crashing but the cpu is still quite high. its not maxed out like before but before sp1 it was operating very very low now its about half way which will most likely give me some latency and cause mixing to be subpar

What did you do to get it running? Did reverting back to the older driver fix it?

yes i reverted back to the driver you linked me too and that worked. Nice work.

That's good. Was the CPU usage the only issue remaining or were you still benig plauged with BSOD?

No BSOD just a ton of issues with traktor still im going to try uninstalling and reverting back to an older version. ive disabled verifier.exe at this point, ill repost if i run into any other BSODs

Do you know where i can find the original driver and software that came with my notebook. i believe it was 6 in 4 out whereas the driver you linked me was 6 in 6 out. I need the software that has the EQ settings which is not currently installed.

ok well the stock driver makes traktor crash, and the updated one you linked to me cuases static on playback. what are some other options. can i get like a virtual soundcard? is that even a real thing?

I found this thread that mentions problems with on board audio and windows 7. Windows 7 vs. Traktor - Page 2 - DJ TechTools Forums. Give it a good read through. It suggests a lot of things you can do to try and fix your problem.

It says to use something called ASIO4ALL - Universal ASIO Driver which I think might be the "virtual" sound card you were talking about. People said that this was a lifesaver for them.

It also mentioned to check your DPC Latency. You can find the app here. They said if it goes into the red then you need to start disabling things that are resource hogs.

yea ive used that before when i had a controller with an onboard I.O device
i tried it out before i read ur post actually. thanks for all the help no blue screens for a day now and traktor seems to be on track. uve been a great help thanks.

traktor is really finiky and aiso4all is not really working that well
how can i update or roll back the drivers or try a bunch of them for my IDT hd audio device.

Here's some different drivers you can try
Download HP Mini 110-3099nr Notebook IDT HD Audio Driver 6.10.6276.0 for Win7 Driver for Windows 7 - Softpedia <--this one looks like it's the newest out. Try this one first. ok i might have to try that out
I fooled around with some of the settings with the ASIO4ALL program and boosted up my latency to 20ms and that seems to be doing the job.
