HELP i copy a corrupt .mkv on my desktop and now i cant login

HELP i copy a corrupt .mkv movie file on my desktop and now it crashes all the time, i cant login, when it goes to the desktop ...BAM windows explorer is restarding..so i have no time to delete the corrupt file..i can login from a guess account but dont know how to erase it from there cause i need more privilages

Boot in safe mode and attempt to delete the file
