something weird happened to me in win 7

hey, suddenly after restart my computers boots and then windows 7 is "preparing your desktop" and it happens each time i log into windows.

now my computer says i have 26gb left, but my desktop items and things are all gone! when i go to c:/users i cant see the "Public" which i always had, "Michel" which has all the things on my desktop and a new folder named "temp" which i guess the window is using! why is it happening? how can i fix this? and also, i've lost all of my program settings, firefox addons, etc... any idea?

First of all, make sure that malware is not affecting your system.

Download the free version of this and run a FULL scan;

Malwarebytes

If it finds anything, then post the log here.

Did you make ANY change to permissions on folders or files?
