Uploaded video content no longer available

On April 29, 2011 videos that have been uploaded to Google Video will no longer be available for playback. We’ve added a Download button to the Video Status

page, so you can download videos that you want to save. If you don’t want to download your videos, you don’t need to do anything. (The Download feature will be disabled after May 13, 2011.)

Sounds in direct conflict with this one from the more answers link:

As far as I am aware, Google video was being used as a backbone of sorts for youtube, for a little while at least. They're probably changing the youtube background infrastructure and don't need Google video anymore.

P.S: I get 403 forbidden on those links?;;;

Some Users of G-Video wondered if G would do a transfer to Ytube, but that is unlikely.

No. The videos that are already in your account will remain hosted by Google Video. You will still have access to all the existing management tools for them.

Mean that you can play them for yourself or you can only edit them?

It is in contradiction to their opening statement:

On April 29, 2011 videos that have been uploaded to Google Video will no longer be available for playback.

This is a Creative rights issue.
You use their hosting, they keep what you post. I just wish they were much more clear on the matter.

I do not have any Videos on Gvid. I am just posting for those that are unaware.

And Users of Gvid should hustlebuttt on over there and get their "stuff" off of Gvid.
Now do not forget you will only be downloading a copy of your work.

Your 403 may mean that your security is blocking those links.

403 - Forbidden. IIS defines several different 403 errors that indicate a more specific cause of the error:

Yup, you're right. Now that I've slept and gotten consciousness back... I found that particular Google sub domain blocked under the adult content filter area of my router.

As far as I am aware, Google video was being used as a backbone of sorts for youtube, for a little while at least. They're probably changing the youtube background infrastructure and don't need Google video anymore.
