About to delete "DirectShow" from my registry..A few questions?

About to delete "DirectShow" from my registry..A few questions?

Is it necessary for my OS?

I was gonna proceed with deleting it because I had a hunch it was the reason my Explorer.exe keeps crashing every time I move the taskbar.

I thought I should check here first just in case I make matters worse :huh:
Should I go ahead in delete it?
I don't have any K-lites codecs but maybe this is a leftover from the uninstall?

Here are some of the things I have done to try to rid the this annoying issue..

Ran Sfc / scannow

Clean boot

virus and malware scans

updated drivers..specifically my graphics card

I install almost every update

deleted left over files

ran safe mode but to no avail because it persist even in safe mode unfortunately.

ran Ccleaner

and done a Checkdisk.

Anything I'm forgetting ?

Yes and to my surprise the problem still did not cease

Thanks I'll leave it alone for sure now

However with that being said I'm back two steps and completely lost
I might try

Uninstalling some programs and after try a repair install...again

Hello Jacee first of all thanks for your reply to my thread however I do not have Conduit installed on my computer.. this is a full list.

Looking at the list in your first picture, there is a folder called 'Conduit' ... it may have come bundled with another program.
