There's a girl in the University that goes to 2 different classes with me, she's gorgeous and funny as hell.. we even talk a lot, via BlackBerry Messenger or in person, sometimes i'd like to ask her out, i mean, we do have some things in common, but there's a catch...

You know when a girl is way out of your league, right? i mean.. a few weeks ago, i was with her and she said: "Hey, look! That's my ex-boyfriend", i saw the guy and.. damn.. he looked like an UFC Fighter. 6'2" at least, 250 pounds, tattoos all over his arms, the look of a russian assassin.

I'm not THAT kind of guy, i'm 5'9" tall, 165 pounds, no tattoos, glasses, kind of mean look, and kinda geeky.. I told her something about the guy and she said: "No, actually... all of my ex look a lot like the one you saw"

So, how could i do, or.. how could i be sure that this girl (leaving aside the fact that i'm out of her league) may be interested in me? being in a society where image represents a lot... Sad but true, here, the year/brand of your car, the price of your clothes, and the size of your wallet, will be directly proportional on the type of girl that you'll get...

I'm bored, BTW.

I have to say. Go for it. While some women are "like that", most want to be with a nice, funny, interesting guy. If you don't ask, you'll always wonder. Right now you are assuming the worse. I'll agree with the others, she obviously likes you enough to talk to you so that's a start and perhaps she's fed up with the hunks, after all most of them only think of themselves anyway and are very shallow.

Give it a try, you may be surprised and the best of luck don't forget looks aren't everything personality is worth a lot more.

In my experience Russian assassins and their ilk are boring conversationalists. They're so full of themselves that they get girls cos they just ask them out. They are full of confidence and so don't mind getting turned down.
Perhaps your friend is a bit bored with self absorbed, tattooed muscle freaks with tiny brains. That might be why she's hanging out with you.
I agree with Ciara, ask her out in a straightforward way, ask her if she's interested in you romantically or just as a friend. That way you can still be pals if she does just like your company.
I've met some gorgeous women who are totally fed up of being asked out by handsome morons but that's all they get.
