I recently built my first PC after using a Mac for years, so I only really know how Macs hand memory.

My new machine has 8GB of RAM (+1GB in video card), but my LCD display on my keyboard, and several other system tools only show memory usage going up to about 1GB at most. And it's not like I've been taking it easy on the machine. I just finished Crysis 1&2, I've worked on Photoshop files up to 120x120 inches, and I've edited movies.

Is it secretly using more than I'm being shown, or is something else going on? (Complete system attached to post)
