Page fault in nonpaged area BSoD

I just recently joined this forum - so I apoligize if this should have gone in another section. Anyways, last night i put my laptop to sleep as per usual and went to bed myself. Some time during the night the fans had come on and woke me up, and I just reached up and turned off the laptop via power button. When i tried to turn in on this morning, I got the following BSoD - IMAG0010 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! When I try to turn it on now it gives the option to start windows normally or start windows repair. Starting windows normally just gives the BSoD and starting repair opens a repair screen briefly but then goes to the BSoD as well. During the first splash screen f2, f8, and f12 all fail to work, they just freeze the boot process and nothing happens. As it stands I can't access the computer at all, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the win 7 dvd?

Do you have a backup from before the problem started?

If I have the win7 CD anywhere, its not with the rest of the documentation and such, so essentially no, i don't have it. I also do not have a back up.

That does limit the options

Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).
Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.
Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.


Without being able to boot presents a problem. If you have a USB stick (~4 gigs) you can download a win 7 image and put it on a bootable USB stick to boot from.

I know i could probably torrent a win 7 image, but is there a different way to get a hold of the iso?

Ok, so I got the iso and put it on an empty flash drive which I formatted to NTFS. I didn't remember my boot settings so I just tried to start the computer, but that led to the same bsod. I then was going to change the BIOS so it would boot from usb, but the startup process freezes when attempting to get to the BIOS. I am totally lost as to what to try next...

You need to make the USB boot-able. Its more than just formatting it to ntfs.


Install Windows 7 Or Windows 8 From USB Drive/Pen Drive
