Problems with Windows Live Mail

Today, I cannot open my email, either saved or new. New e-mail messages will download, but will not open. I get this message: "A problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again."

A few days ago, all was well. Has anyone had this before? What can I do to correct this problem?

Suggestions :

1. Install Malwarebytes anti-malwares program, and run it. It is one of the best in the business.

2. Run a system file check to look for and repair corrupt files.

3. All else fails....
Copy down the account settiongs of your e-mail account > remove the account from WLM > reboot > open WLM again > re-configure the same e-mail account with the same settings.
Test to see if you can open mails now.

You can also try a Repair of WLM. Go to Control Panel/Programs and Features and click on Windows Live Essentials and select repair.
