For me 8 or more, but that number goes up during school time

I've put 4 or more but it can depend on the day, some days it can be quite a lot more but it's never less than 4.

Well, I do systems admin stuff for a living, so at least 8 hours a day for 5 days a week. Plus, probably 2 hours each evening reading stuff and updating FB and forums.

But I do far less with the computer at home these days then I used to do. Guess after working all day with them, I want a break at night.

I can sympathize LiquidSnak, that's how it is during the school semester for me too. I put 8+ but that number goes over 12 during the semester. Also, since my major is computer sciences, the assignments add to the time....

At least one system is always on, even when not actively using the computer it's there for all those tasks that I used to do in other ways, check the weather, TV schedules, telephone numbers.

I obviously don t use the computer when I go out, but then there's my phone and normally a netbook in my bag

I'd say about 4-6 hours a day. Weekdays maybe 2 hours (for homework and such), then around 5 on weekends. It's the holidays now though so probably a few hours everyday.

Weekdays I work, maybe 5 hours at night. Weekends depends if I am home, can be 8 +. I choose 4+.
