It's been a frustrating 1 week trying to get all the tablet PC buttons and Fn keys to work in Windows 7... I've been searching high and low in all kinds of forums to see if anyone did it before but to no avail...:mad:

Now I've finally got all the drivers for the Fujitsu T4020 tablet PC running on Windows 7! (Since all the drivers in Fujitsu's site are for windows XP)

Since I manage to get it working so I thought that it would be nice to share my experience...:geek:

Once you know what to do it's fairly simple.

1. Download all the windows XP drivers from Fujitsu's site Support & Downloads - FUJITSU Singapore
EXCEPT for
a) Video (or Graphics Card driver) Can't rotate the screen with this
b) Fujitsu Hotkey Utility
c) Fujitsu Button Driver
d) Fujitsu Button Utility
e) Touch Button Application
f) Whatever not necessary eg:Bluetooth, fingerprint etc...

2. Download and install Intel G915GM Windows 7 driver from Microsoft Update Catalog using IE8 and install plugin. Then go to device manager, update driver, Select the option to "Search for Drivers on my Computer" and point it to where you downloaded the file. Then "Manually Select a Driver" Finally Select Display Adapters and the 915 Driver is there

3. Download and install Windows 7 drivers below for Fujitsu 2020 here Support & Downloads - FUJITSU Singapore

a) FUJ02B1
b) Button Driver
c) Button Utility

4. Install Windows 7 and update all the drivers from "Device Manager" pointing to the folder where you have downloaded your drivers (do name your files in individual folders as to not confuse the drivers) and tick "include subfolders"

I have not got the "green" on-screen-display for the Fn keys to work (ie: Mute, adjust brightness, switch monitor etc.) but all the functions work, it just doesn't show you.

5. Go to Control Panel - > tablet PC settings -> Buttons tab (will not show if using XP drivers) and cofigure your tablet pc Buttons on what you want each of them to do.

6. Voila! All your Fn keys and Tablet PC buttons should work... Including the Digital Pen.... Now you have a windows 7 tablet!!! hahahaha :party::party:

Hope this helps....

Disclaimer: It worked for me, so I do not guarantee that it'll work for all. As you might know PC's can be real funny at times... sometimes you have to do a bit of trial and error to get it working :).

I'll try my best to come in here more often shoud you have any questions...

Cheers,
Chun

Mine works fine with the v9.1.1.5 drivers. Go into Microsoft Update Catalog, enter "2195 ABG Windows 7" in the search box. It will find 4 entries, the latest is version 9.1.2.10. Click the Add button. Then, click the Cart. Then, download the drivers to your PC. Expand the .cab file and install them.

Dear Chun;

I was wondering if you can get the screen to rotate using the # 3 button located on the screen bezel or thru the control panel tablet settings. I was also unable to find the windows 7 driver update using the Windows update catalog. I was wondering if you could include a link for that driver. Ed

Don't know - haven't tried it.

That's because there are NO Windows 7 drivers for this chipset. See my earlier thread about how to obtain working drivers. They are from the XP days, and you may have to use Compatibility Mode to install them.
