Hi,

I used Bluescreenview after recieving 2 crash's, both are exactly the same.

Last night I installed advanced system care pro. when it did a clean sweep and found junk to remove. When I clicked repair the first time it happened 30 secs after this. After restarting the laptop I tried again and it crash'd instantly after choosing repair. Could someone chec kthe dump file and tell me how I could fix it.

Thanks alot

Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\athrx.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for athrx.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for athrx.sys
Probably caused by : athrx.sys ( athrx+10160f )

So I noticed, we have a driver here called athrx.sys - which is equal to a company called Atheros Communications, which makes some "Free Error Scans" or a network adapter, could you find this software and remove it?

After you removed it, try making a backup just in-case, and go to safe-mode, and go to the path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\athrx.sys, then change athrx.sys to athrx.old so it'll no longer be loaded. Just a tip.

But first advice, get rid of that software that are teasing your system.

FredeGail

Just a quick search and it seems its a Atheros Extensible Wireless LAN device driver. What should I do lol :S

Does it appear in your control panel as a software? You know, the place where you used to uninstall different kinds of software.

I disabled the driver, and did the junk repair and it didnt go to BSOD :D. As I use the ethernet cable anyway I guess I wont need the wireless adapter enabled unless I really have to. Thanks alot for the help il be sure to rep you :)
