How to reduce the size of URL toolbar in Firefox?

Hi all,

I posted this topic elsewhere but didn't get answer yet.
So, I may post it here hoping to find the right answer.
Well, I would like to reduce the size of URL address toolbar, or better to customize it in a manner that its size fits to the length of URL being visited in Firefox.
I mean that if the URL is long, for example (useless to click, a fake example!): http://www.urlverylongblablablablablablabla.com), the URL bar length should extend accordingly and if it is short (ex. http://www.ff.com) the size of URL toolbar should also be short accordingly.
I tried to insert a flexible space on right of the bar and drag it on left but this didn't work.
So, does somebody has a trick to customize the URL bar size, and benefits of the gained space to stick another bar utility?

Thank you in advance

I have one " manual " way.
It does not adjust the length automatically.

Rest your cursor at the extreme right side of the address box > the cursor should turn into a 2-pointer > left click and HOLD > drag the address box to the right or left to fit the length of the url.

I never think of browser other than IE9.

I should have specified in my last reply. Sorry.

You can fully expand the bar by moving items around.
Is that what you're looking for?

Actually, I would like that the address toolbar shrinks or expands automatically in according to the length of the URL address.
Or, reduce its size permanently. I don't need necessarily to see the entire URL. So, if the part of url next to (.com) is hiden, this is not problem! It could be visible upon selection or when pointing the bar.

In FF, rest your cursor IN BETWEEN the address bar and Google bar > cursor will turn to a 2 pointer.

Sorry, what do you mean by "2 pointer"?
Anyway, when I place the cursor on the right of address bar nothing happens! I don't see "2 pointer"!
To note, I don't have google bar, I deleted it because I use an omnibar extension that transform the URL bar to search bar too. I don't know if this will change something!

The OP wants the address bar to dynamically lengthen and shorten automatically according to the length of the URL.

Thank you.
I knew that, and I already told the OP in my first reply that it was a manual. I am sure the OP understands too.
