Does anyone live near here? It would be nice to recreate the default wallpaper for XP in 1680x1050 high definition on a clear day.

I know of one photo of the area:



but its overcast so doesnt make a good wallpaper.

If anyone can reproduce this, Id be grateful

Just a thought. It would be easier and cheaper to grab a copy from an XP install and up-res it in something like photoshop. Unless you are looking for something similar but different from the XP default wallpaper.

The bliss wallpaper is completely different to the location as it was heavily altered by Microsoft.

Slightly different angle but it is the natural landscape, the grapevines were diseased and had to be removed so there was grass there for a couple of years.

The pic is 4510px × 3627px so you can see quite a bit of detail, and it looks natural to me.

That grass does look manipulated though.
