I tried an animation for your avatar....shrugging shoulder's, blinking eyes, and raising the hands. Animation is out of my league. Too much cutting and pasting.
Have a friend who is a young whipper snapper that I can ask to do this.
So post the picture again and I will send it off to see if he has time to do it.

Archie, since you mentioned reading some of Poe's works...Here you go - the raven (or crow...?) is a snapshot of my own. I was very lucky, the bird was sitting so quietly on the tree that I ran for the camera ;-D In Poe's poem "The Raven", the ominous bird is most appropriately perched on a bust of Pallas Athena...

The thunderbolt is done with adobe photoshop . It is not that tough, too ; but sometimes it requires image manipulation, I am not that good with it , just can do basic animations .

If you open it in adobe photoshop, with animation window opened (window > animation), I hope you will be able to understand the trick

Ha, cool animation!

Today I finally managed to get rid of the ridges marking the curves of the noobvious's sig...I had fortunately saved the layers. There is still some raggedness on the very outside and inside of the bevel, but the inner curves are smooth now I decided to dump the preloaded PSE bevel effect and made my own following some of the steps in this GIMP tutorial (I did them in PSE without any problems).

So here it is - the Water sig revamped :-D And...yes, I do tend to be horribly nitpicky. Drives everyone mad, including myself.
