BSOD while downloading torrents (uTorrent, vixati) Stop 0x000000C2

Need help. Everytime I try to open uTorrent, after 5-10 mins of downloading, it crashes and goes BSoD. Reinstalling didnt do the trick, even trying a new torrent program (vixati).

Windows 7 Ultimate x86
Original OS

I'm at a loss. After years of reported trouble with Utorrent and all the bad things you can get why anybody would want to use it. Updating drivers is a great idea but not using Utorrent is a better idea. Of course this is my opinion.

Only if you dont need them or use them.

I thought of that at the first place. That's why I replaced uTorrent with vixati, then with flashget (lol, its not a good torrent downloader, but meh). but it's still getting the error. especially when it hits 130kbps++.

oh no. It crashed again! I also noticed that when I'm playing music while a torrent is downloading, it crashes. You might get something from there.

Dont use uTorrent for testing purposes.

Using a torrent of any kind is not safe IMHO. When you use one soon or later your computer is going to get hit with a bad thing. You bypass you security because you gave it permission to download from computers all over the world. A bad thing can hook itself on drivers.

Depends how you use it and for what.

You can also have control in everything if you know exact what you doing.

Though for now we like to know what really cause the crash.

Usually, it's because torrent clients open a lot of TCP connections which stresses some network drivers to the point of crashing them. One way of preventing them is to limit the total number of connections allowed in the torrent client to something like 150-200, no more.

And IMHO, uTorrent etc. is perfectly safe to use. The risk is simply in what you download, which applies to anything. I don't believe that connecting to random people all over the world is really that risky - you can use protocol encryption and even IP filters - it just means getting a download from multiple sources instead of one. Most of those random people are just torrent users like you.

Well it is easy to see that their are many opinions on torrents. You know mine. I like to play it safe. Protecting my computer from one source or a thousand sources. I pick one source. Just Google, torrents security problems you will see over 51 million sites to check it out yourself. I know of nothing you will need a torrent to download anything. You can go to the official web site and get everything they have to offer not using a torrent.
