No, ntoskrnl is what the system says of it does not know the real cause. If it had been ntoskrnl... you´d have many more problems...

Today a little error box popped up saying windows explorer has stopped working, after about 30 seconds it went away, dont know if that has anything to do with.. anything?

It should not happen but does not have to be related to the main prob in this thread.. If it happens only this one time, I'd leave it for now.

Was all going so well, but unfortunatley had another bsod today while watching tv online. Was having some errors while trying to install the latest java, dunno if that has anything to do with it.

Driver is from 2007.

Did you use again the Wacom mouse? If yes,for the moment don't.

Getting confused with this wacom driver business, in my system32 folder the date it was last modified was 2010. I've downloaded the latest drivers and reinstalled multiple times.

Have removed all wacom drivers and software for now

Please backup everything important,then read very carefully the tutorial then run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

Normally with repair install you dont lose anything,though a backup is always a good idea.

Finish with this step and post back with any results.

I followed the steps as shown, I'm fairly sure my windows disc dose not have SP1 with it, at least i dont remeber it having it, and it says nothing on the disc, i followed the steps and got this message.

Im guessing this is because i need to uninstall SP1 before running it. Thought i should check with you guys before i do anything tho

I believe the best thing for you is to backup everything important in usb hard disk,then,

Run a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

After that update your windows using windows updates.

The updates also includes SP1.


Then update everything else,graphic card software\driver,network card,sound card,everything.


Finish with this and post back with results.

Okay i have run a clean install, booted up fine, so far i have installed

.chipset
.graphics driver
.wireless adapter driver

all available windows updates currently downloading

trying to only download the bare minimum of drivers i need

Should i install any other downloads for my motherboard? http://uk.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A88TM

For the moment install\update only necessary software\drivers.



For antivirus download and install Microsoft Security Essentials



If your pc is running just fine and you are able to work and play.



Then your finish.



Dont do anything else.

Have been running for a week with no issues, i am about to install my wacom tablet, and download the most recent drivers. fingers crossed it dosent cause BSODS. will report back if anything happens
