Hi Melkor, what you are asking is unattainable If you could buy a case for the laptop ,the cost of cards and devices would be astronomic a graphic card for a laptop would be around £400 you can buy an OEM laptop for that money In my personal opinion its a no go I'm afraid sorry :(

OK , But where will you source the devices from ? most laptops use custom designed cards and mobo's the cost for a 1off project would be prohibitive that is if you could get a manufacturer to design, build and test one for you :(

I'm with Pebbly!

If you know of an online store where you can buy those parts boxed and new, please let me know!!

EDIT: you really should go to Dell.com and check out the Alienware line of high performance gaming laptops. They are sweet, customizable, and arse-kicking rigs.
Definitely not cheap - but money is no object, right?

Surely the whole point of "laptop" is the fact that it's portable? What you're aspiring to will need a crane to lift, let alone carry around with you ...

Unfortunately, you can't really build a laptop . As for Alienware, it's a rip-off. If I were you, I'd steer clear of them. But if money, doesn't matter then the Alienware M18x would be your second best option. The Origin EON17 would be the best. It's a little bit bulky but packs a lot of power including an i7-990x CPU. If I were you, I'd go for something like that.

Hey but I'm working on that nitrogen cooling thing......I think a separate trolley for the tank will make a great addition to his seventy pound custom laptop. Man I hope he wants it with integrated 7.1 because that will only add another fifty pounds and ten thousand for the premium Mark Levinson system.

No one builds his own laptop.

you cannot buy parts to build a laptop. no one makes laptop parts to sell to the public like they do desktop parts.
I'm sure computer companies put a halt on that stuff. they lost way too much money on the desktop side to let that happen to them again.

even all the stuff you listed is a desktop part.
you couldn't even run those without the proper power supply. a power supply for a desktop is bigger than any laptop I've ever seen.
you're going to have one funny looking laptop. it will be a big ol box with a lcd monitor strapped to it. lol

actually you're sounding more like a troll than someone with a real question. everyone that's remotely into computers already knows there are no aftermarket kits for building laptops readily available.

if you want to build your own you're going to have to buy parts and bits from other stuff on ebay etc. and piece one together.

You do realize those sound cards are for desktops and will not work in a laptop?
They are far too big as well.

You really need to choose what you want.
If its mobility, buy a high end Laptop.
If its Gaming you want, build your own Desktop.

In general theres no such thing as a gaming laptop.
Sure, there are some higher end laptops that can game.
But you must consider they cost 2-3 times more than a gaming PC, and are no where near as powerful as a desktop built for Gaming &/or number crunching.

For the best gaming performance, you must choose a destop.

Just means that either makes good CPUs.
But if you are after pure performance, Intel is the only choice.

In many cases, Core freqency doesn't even matter, because they both work differently.
For example, a slightly more expensive Intel at say 2.6Ghz will actually be faster than the Cheaper AMD equivalent thats running at 3.0ghz.

So if money is no object, you'll want to stay with Intel, for the highest performance.

I know Alienware and Dell are a waste of money and that Origin is way to expensive. However, I need information on the best parts available and the prices of these parts. It would if you arrange it in a catalog format.
